Dorothy Mikkelson
September 15, 1919 – January 13, 2009

MOHALL – Dorothy Mikkelson, 89, of Mohall, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at a Minot hospital.

She was born September 15, 1919 on the family farm near Roseglen, a daughter of Otto and Myrtle (Cranston) Mikkelson.  She lived in Grafton for many years and has made her residence at the Good Samaritan Society nursing home in Mohall since 1979. 

Dorothy loved coloring, babies, teddy bears and watching cartoons on TV.

Family:  sisters, Grace Shaw and Irene Janz, both Minot; sister-in-law, Helen Mikkelson, Garrison; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Marion Larson, Alice Petz, and Leona and Deloris Mikkelson; brothers, Lawrence and Russell Mikkelson.

Funeral:  Friday, January 16, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Society, Mohall.

Burial:  Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot

Visitation:  Today one hour prior to the service at the nursing home.
