Frances Price
Frances was born May 21, 1916 in Mohall to Charles and Louise (Hocksprung) Tuor. She was raised in Mohall and was baptized and confirmed at St. Jerome Catholic Church. She graduated from Mohall High School in 1934. Frances married Allen Luther Price on September 29, 1945. They purchased the Service Station in Mohall and operated it until their retirement in the mid 1980s. She also worked through the years at Oppen’s Market, Bob’s Hi-Lo, and Abe’s Market. Allen died September 8, 1996. Frances entered the Good Samaritan Society nursing home, Mohall, in 2006. Frances was a life long member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, Mohall, Christian Mothers and Altar Society, Good Samaritan Nursing Home Auxiliary, All School Reunion Committees, The Republican Party, Renville County Council for the Aging, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Meals-on-Wheels, George T. Taylor American Legion Auxiliary, the Friendly Neighbors Senior Citizens, many Fund Raising coupon projects and various other organizations. She was The Ultimate Cheerful Volunteer. Family: son, Jerome (Karen) Price, San Diego, CA; grandson, Jason (Desiree) Price, El Cajon, CA; and great-grandson, Owen, El Cajon, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters, Catherine Tuor, Mary Burbidge and Agnes Heins. A Celebration of life service will be held in the spring.
