Helen Wright
June 22, 1925 – November 14, 2009

MOHALL – Helen Violet Wright, 84, Mohall; died Saturday, November 14, 2009, at a Minot hospital.

She was born June 22, 1925, in Minot, to Emil and Ella (Lanes) Husby.  She grew up on a farm north of Tolley and attended grade school at the McKinney School No. 3.  She graduated from Tolley High School in 1941.  After graduation, she worked at the Hotel Richard in Mohall.

Helen married Ronald Wright August 6, 1944, in Tolley.  They lived in Mohall where Helen worked at the City Drug Store and Mohall Paint and Linoleum for several years.  They spent their retirement years in Mohall.

Helen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall, and Lutheran Daughters of the Reformation, and a Homemakers Club.

Family:  husband of 65 years, Ronald, Mohall; daughters, Gloria Foss, Bismarck; Ruth Ann (Jim) Ackles, San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Bertha Fitzgerald, Mohall; Lillie May, Minot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sheila Larson; and brother, Elmer Husby.

Funeral:  Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall

Burial:  Mohall Community Cemetery

Family Service:  Today at 6:00 p.m. at the church
