Joan O’Connor
She was born November 6, 1934 near Mohall to Leonard and Ora (Myaer) Fisher. She was raised in Mohall and attended school in Mohall and at St. Leo’s High School in Minot. She was once married to Oakley Elven, and once married to Adam O’Connor. She lived and worked in several states including California, Nevada, North Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota where she worked as a customer service representative for Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She returned to North Dakota in June of 2005 and entered the Good Samaritan Society, Mohall. Joan had a great sense of humor and cared deeply about her family and friends. Family: son, Philip O’Connor; sisters, Sally Johnson, Durango, CO; and Helen (Stuart) Anderson, Rancho Mirage, CA; brothers, Duane Fisher and Jerry (Sandy) Fisher, both of Mohall; and Bruce (Bobbie) Fisher, Thorp, WA; and several nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Richard and Ken Fisher.
