Lee Glinz
He was born September 10, 1942 in Minot to Willmar and Ruth (Lebeck) Glinz. He was raised in Maxbass, graduated from Maxbass High School and attended the Bottineau School of Forestry. He served in the United States Army for two years. Lee farmed in the Maxbass area and also worked for Amerada Hess in the Newburg area. He was once married to Cindy Smith Duben. Lee was a member of English Lutheran Church, Maxbass, and the George T. Taylor American Legion Post #52, Mohall. His hobbies included hunting and woodworking, and he enjoyed the companionship of his dog, Barnum. Family: daughter, Laura Glinz (special friend, Stacey Burkle), Minot; mother, Ruth Glinz, Maxbass; his dog, Barnum; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Lee was preceded in death by his father, Willmar; and brother, James. Funeral: Thursday, October 22, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at English Lutheran Church, Maxbass Burial: Graceland Cemetery, Maxbass Visitation: Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at the church.
