Lulu Gilseth

MOHALL
– Lulu Bell Gilseth, 96, of Mohall; died Monday, January 7, 2008 at a Mohall
nursing home.
She was born July 26, 1911 in Hopkins, MO, to Frank and Grace (Mothershed) Keith. She was raised and attended school in Mohall.
She married Carl O. Gilseth June 17, 1928 in Minot. They lived and farmed for sixteen years in Brandon Township, Renville County. They moved to a farm in Cutbank Township, Bottineau County and retired from farming in 1962. Carl died September 15, 1972.
Lulu moved to Mohall in 1973 where she has since lived. She moved to the Plaza in August of 2001 and to the Mathiason Apartments in 2006. She entered the Good Samaritan Society this past February.
Lulu was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall, a homemakers group, and the Friendly Neighbors Senior Citizens. Lulu enjoyed playing pinochle, reading, cooking and entertaining family members.
Family: son, Richard Gilseth, Auburn, WA; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gilseth, Mohall; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Lulu was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Loren, Gary, Galen and Rodney; daughter-in-law, Melba; granddaughter, Cora Lea; brothers, Lovell, Frank and John Keith; and sisters, Mary Herigstad and Lela Robey.
Funeral: Saturday, January 12, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall
Burial: Mohall Community Cemetery
Family Service: Today at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home
