Mildred Gehringer
July 17, 1910 – September 16, 2009 

MOHALL – Mildred Margaret Gehringer, 99, Mohall; died Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at a Mohall nursing home.

She was born July 17, 1910 in Muskego Township, Renville County, near Foxholm to Joseph and Margaret (Fuerstenberg) Ahmann.  She was raised in the Foxholm area and attended school there.

Mildred married Daniel John Gehringer March 4, 1935 in Mohall.  They lived in Brandon Township, Renville County, for many years until moving into Mohall in 1987.  Daniel died March 29, 1989.

Mildred was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Mohall, the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Altar Society.

Family:  children, JoAnn (Steve) Zearly, Minot; Jim Gehringer, Mohall; LaVonne Rolland, Glenburn; and Tom (Judy) Gehringer, Mohall; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband; sisters, Mamie Stammen, Sophie Klosterman, Loretta Willenbring, Verna Johnstone, Aurelia Hulse, Florence Walsh and Viola Sutton; and brothers, Fred, Leo, Emil and Leander Ahmann.

Funeral:  Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Mohall

Family Service:  Monday, September 21, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at the church
