Orville Evanger
November 16, 1939 – May 13, 2010

MOHALL – Orville L. Evanger, 70, Mandaree, and formerly of Mohall, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at his home.

He was born November 16, 1939, near Mohall, to Theodore and Katherine (Simpson) Evanger.  He grew up on the farm and attended Grassland Township and Clay Center Schools.  He worked for several family members on their farms.  In later years, he worked on ranches in Montana and North Dakota.  He also helped in the construction of a bridge south of Watford City.

For the past eight years, he worked on a ranch east of Mandaree.

Family:  sisters, Inga Kvelstad, Mohall, and Thelma Shong, Northfield, MN; brother, Harry (Carol) Evanger, Mohall; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Orville was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Eunice Lee.

Funeral:  Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hamerly Chapel of Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall.

Burial:  Mohall Community Cemetery
